Fund platform Allfunds, has appointed Juan Pablo Valdés as Chile country head, effective immediately. He is taking over from Sebastián Ochagavía, who is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities.
Valdés, who will oversee Allfunds’ local representative office in Santiago de Chile, will report to Laura Gonzalez, head of Americas. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having served in a variety of roles in which he oversaw the direction of investment on behalf of private bank clients. Most recently, Valdés served as commercial manager at LarrainVial Asset Management, where he led the distribution of mutual and investment funds across different channels.
“Latin America plays a key role in our global strategy and an area where we have extensive growth plans; Juan Pablo’s appointment reflects our commitment to the region, and desire to bring market-leading talent into the regional business to continue enhancing the service we deliver to clients,” Gonzalez said in a statement.

Raymond James has welcomed financial advisors Nicholas Troiano and Mathew Mattice to its employee advisor channel.
The advisors previously oversaw about $1.5 billion in client assets at TIAA; they are joined by senior registered client service associate Christine Blakely.
Together as Next Level Planning & Investments of Raymond James, with offices in Denver and Boulder, Colorado, the group provides financial and investment planning services.
Troiano has been helping clients pursue financial independence and wellbeing since 1999. Early in his career, he joined forces with a nationally-ranked Barron’s advisor at several notable firms in New York, including Bear Stearns and JP Morgan.
Mattice, who has been in the financial services industry for more than 16 years, established his career with Lenox Advisors in New York. He spent a decade there before joining TIAA in 2019.
